The 2019 Regional RoboRumble Competition
will take place on Saturday, April 27th
at South Jackson Elementary School from 9am -12pm.
Robotics is STEM in motion.Almost 5 years ago Research and Innovation in Learning (RAIL) at University of Georgia began work with Barrow County and Jackson County School Systems to incorporate robotics into their curriculum to increase student achievement in Math and Science as well as develop marketable skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. In this work both school systems hosted district wide competitions, and now, for the first time, invite the Northeast Georgia region to join in and enjoy the benefits of challenging students to tackle problems using coding skills and mechanical abilities.
